The Basics (Getting There)

The event is in Cancun, Mexico at the Dreams Jade resort.

Each package to ‘Darts In Paradise” is $322 per person per night (7 nights minimum/2 people per room), which includes your ticket, your room, your food and beverages and your tournament fees.  Any attendee at the resort can participate in the tournament.

ALL ROOMS at ‘Darts In Paradise’ are the same price, regardless whether you select the ocean view room or the garden room. First-to-book gets the best selection. 

We do have a small handful of upgrades to the Preferred Club, which includes upgraded room, private VIP check-in and lounge… Even your own butler. But these rooms are very limited. So upgrade your package when you book, if you want this extra special booking. 

Yes. Absolutely. All attendees are eligible to play in the tournament. 

Yes, we have two great options for you! PayPal Pay Later and Affirm. You can choose either payment option during checkout. PayPal allows the longest installments (up to 24 monthly installments over two-years).

Cancun, Mexico (CUN) is easily reachable non-stop from most cities in North America and many throughout the world. We recommend checking Kayak.com for rates beginning in June, 2024.

No. With so many people coming from so many places and with everyone favoring different airline and seats, we stay away from your flights. We’ll see you on the ground. 

No, but you will be able to book your airport transfer directly on our website with our trusted transportation partner, Amstar, starting January 2025.  You may also choose a taxi, Uber or private car. But beware of scams, negotiate the total price before you get going and know your driver.

Yes. A valid passport is required for most international travel these days. However, Mexico does not require a visa for entry for citizens of most countries.

All rates are quoted in USD.

Yes, We will have a local dart supplier on hand for needed supplies.

Not if you would like to attend the event and related festivities. Guest access is restricted to those who book directly through ‘Darts In Paradise’.

Yes. We have teamed up with Amstar to offer you a number of great excursions and activities, available for purchase directly on our website starting January 2025. 

Cancun is one of the most convenient beach destinations in the world. As such, there is an endless array of activities within an hour’s drive of the resort. Excursion staff are available to help you make plans early.

Like any tourist destination, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings and take precautions to avoid petty theft. However, Cancun is generally considered safe for tourists, especially in well-lit and populated areas.

Situated on the edge of the Caribbean Sea, Cancun experiences a tropical wet and dry climate. Here, the weather can be characterized by high temperatures and significant rainfall that comes in seasonal patterns.

Throughout the year, there is a clear warming trend in the daytime temperatures, reaching a high of 86°F in the month of June.

Pack light, comfortable clothing for warm weather. Be sure to pack sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a swimsuit, and comfortable shoes. 

The official currency of Mexico is the Peso. However, US dollars are widely accepted in all areas and most credit cards are accepted everywhere.

Citizens of most countries can visit Mexico for up to 90 days without a visa. However, it’s always best to check with your nearest Mexican embassy or consulate for the latest information.

Yes. Cancun can be a great place for families. There are plenty of kid-friendly activities, such as swimming, building sandcastles, and playing in the waves. There are also several family-friendly restaurants and hotels.

Yes, rooms, food and drinks are included in one package.

All packages are priced the same ($322 per person per night, based upon a 7 nights stay/2 persons per room) at “Darts in Paradise”, which means the rooms are given first to our Early Birds to select and the remainder will be made available to the general public. So Early Birds can pick the best room first without paying additional..

T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon each offer service from Mexico that behaves just like your phone does in the United States, which means you can direct dial and accept phone calls without additional charges. Check with your carrier before you travel.

Yes. It’s just an extra $322 per night for that person. You will be able to add them with your full booking or later if you prefer.

The Event

YES, the payouts are GUARANTEED! The sponsor of the event, The Experience Resorts, is providing the funds which are held in the Darts In Paradise LLC Florida accounts. Funds will be wired to winners on Tuesday June 10th, 2025. Winners are responsible for their own tax obligations resulting from their winnings.

Yes, No headgear is to be worn during any matches. This includes EarPods, headphones, or hats. Dart shirts must not contain any violent, sexual, hateful, or vulgar language or images. Long dark pants, dark shoes and socks.

This will be long format , starting with best of 9 legs, knockout.

All packages will be sold per person, with double occupancy required.

Yes. We will have a local dart supplier on hand for needed supplies.

We have Main events, and many side evening events for your playing pleasure. These side events will be listed the closer we get to the event date.

No. You have total freedom for which events you want to play. Your package comes with the main events paid for. Side events will be at a minimal fee and at your discretion.

We will have a list set up for those looking to partner with someone for doubles. Keep an eye for those posts as we get closer to the events.

No, you do not have to play the events, your room package comes with everything, regardless if you play or not.

All players must be signed in no less than 30 minutes before the start of each event. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. No exceptions. 

Each player is responsible for keeping an eye on board calls on the screens provided throughout the venue. Players will not be chased down to play. 

Any verbal or physical abuse toward players, staff, or volunteers will NOT be tolerated. If such behavior occurs, you will be banned from all remaining events and possibly removed from the venue/hotel without a refund. 

During stage events, alcohol is not permitted on the stage tables. Water only. 

Only players who have purchased a full week package through Darts In Paradise will be permitted to play the five main events. Those wishing to play the blind draws may do so at an extra cost. 

Players making it to the top 16 will receive their winnings via wire transfer on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.


 

Smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Please follow the resort rules. 

Men will NOT be allowed to play in women’s events (must be born female to play in women’s events). Women will NOT be allowed to play in men’s events (must be born male to play in men’s events). 

Each player attending the meet and greet on Monday afternoon is allowed to bring ONE item to be signed by our special guests. 

 

Attendees who have not purchased a Darts In Paradise package will NOT be allowed into the venue during events, with the exception of the two blind draws held at the exhibition hall. 

Dart Connect will be used for the coin flip to determine who starts first. Each game will then alternate until matches are complete. This will continue until the quarterfinals, where the players will physically throw for bull off-stage before the match. This applies to all events. 

 

For each bracket, the final player on the bracket sheet will score the first match. The loser of each set will then be the scorekeeper for the next match. 

Any and all issues are to be dealt with at the time of play with the bracket officials. Any issues not dealt with at that time will be deemed null and void. 

A time limit of 5 minutes will be allowed from the board call to the start time at the first call. If a second call is needed, an additional 5 minutes will be allotted. If a player does not check in to start the match after the second call, that player will be disqualified from the event, and the waiting player will be given the win. This time rule will be strictly monitored with no exceptions. 

If the tournament is canceled due to elements other than weather, participants will be refunded in full, any monies paid to ‘Darts In Paradise’. If the tournament is canceled due to a major weather event such as a hurricane, it will be rescheduled to a later date, consistent with most airline cancellation policies that permit weather-related re-bookings. 

The Resort

You’ll be staying at the Dreams Jade Resort in Cancun, Mexico.  It’s a luxury beach resort approximately 30 minutes from the Cancun. 

there are six ala carte restaurants and four bars including a swim-up pool bar.

All-inclusive means nearly limitles food and beverages throughout your stay. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.  Alcoholic beverages including cocktails are also part of your package.

Restaurants run at normal operating hours. 

EVERY ticket sold at ‘Darts in Paradise’ is priced at $322 per person per night, based upon double-occupancy and a 7-night stay.  Rooms are able to be chosen on a first-come/first-served basis. Specialty suites are available for an extra charge.
